Hiya Ethics,

The New York Times this week ran a critical front-page story on the NFL’s undermining concussion research and its ties to the tobacco industry.  The NFL immediately asked for a retraction and threatened a libel suit.  This letter from a Times attorney explains why the paper stands by the story.

I also saw this week that Stephen Glass has paid back $200,000 to the magazines that paid him for his bogus work.

See you soon!
